rest stop: the pursuit of kings who never give up

I know what you’re thinking: Say whaaa? That’s how I’m feelin’ right now, because last week I finished watching threeee dramas! Tree! *curtsies* It’s not all that jaw-dropping considering I was on winter break when two of the three aired their finales, but whenever I wrap up multiple shows that I’ve been following for weeks in a relatively short span of time, it hits me hard—I literally have not watched anything since. My currently-watching list has been reduced from seven to four dramas (technically three, since one is sorta-kinda on hold) in what feels like the blink of an eye.

I wasn’t really sure if I was going to say anything about these shows—I’ve come to realize that drama-blogging, for me, isn’t so much about “is this show good or bad” as it is “do I feel like writing right now… or not”—but these three dramas… it’s finally sunken in. Wow, they’re really good. And in very, very different ways. Thus explains my wonky title, as I’ve recently wrapped up Never Give Up, Dodo (錢多多煉愛記), The King 2 Hearts (더킹 투하츠), and The Pursuit of Happiness (愛的生存之道).

rest stop: dramaland

So I’ve been getting the jitters again, feeling the urge to post but having not the least bit of time in the world to do so. Hats off to real-life issues and that physics test I utterly bombed yesterday, only to comprehend every inch and seam upon two hours spent “retaking” it after school (which, unfortunately, had no bearing on my grade) with an acquaintance of mine. Then there’s the Class-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, extracurricular drama trauma, and college apps which stifle me at every turn. Suffice to say, real life calls, so what can I do but reciprocate the love? Words cannot even begin to describe how done I am with my school-centric life, but as the adage goes, Life’s a b*tch; deal with it.
